BPI Films Sevenoaks
BPI Films Sevenoaks use Keith Ogden for retained consultancy/inspection visits to help maintain their excellent standards of hygiene and housekeeping which make them one of the most impressive extrusion facilities in the UK.
At each visit any current hygiene issues, customer concerns, industry trends and new requirements are discussed and any actions required agreed. A detailed physical inspection is completed followed by a review of a cross section of the company management systems to ensure that standards are being maintained and that systems are achieving effective control. These inspections/audits are used to complement the internal audits undertaken and help reduce internal auditing resource inputs.
One of the inspection/consultancy visits is undertaken prior to the annual BRC/IoP Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials audit by RSPH (undertaken in conjunction with the ISO 9001 audit) to help ensure continued compliance and retention of certification.
The RSPH BRC/ISO 9001 Audit in spring 2010 resulted in the excellent outcome of no non-conformances – this was undoubtedly partly due to the fine tuning to standards and systems undertaken following an Effective Control Ltd Consultancy Inspection a few weeks earlier.
