Rexam Beverage Can Europe and Asia
Rexam Beverage Can Europe and Asia are part of the world’s largest beverage can manufacturing company. They are an innovative company that is seen as the leader in their packaging sector. Keith Ogden has been working with Rexam BCE since 2002 helping the company to develop and improve standards and management of Hygiene and HACCP across the Group.
For the last ten years Keith has been involved in routinely visiting many of the manufacturing plants to undertake an Annual Audit/Review of their HACCP and Hygiene Systems and Standards and to facilitate continuous improvement across the Group.
He has helped with development and implementation of Group HACCP/Hygiene policies and procedures and helps to share sector best practice across the Group.
Recent work has included completing a Total Review of Group Hygiene, Product Safety and Housekeeping Procedures to ensure that they are compliant with Issue 4 of the BRC/IoP Global Standard, PAS 223:2011 and other GFSI recognized standards. This review also resulted in fine tuning to many other associated procedures such as Pest Control, Transport, Contract Warehousing, Packaging Control, HACCP, Training, etc.
Three of the European manufacturing plants were also subject to a BRC/IoP Global Standard Issue 4 – Pre-Audit from Effective Control Ltd in early 2011 and fortunately all three have now successfully progressed through to certification.
Although it was never his intention in life, Keith is now finds himself as one of the most experienced Hygiene, HACCP and BRC practitioners in the Beverage Can Sector!
